Lee has been playing Sorensen mandolin family instruments since he picked up his first F8 at IBMA 2012.  He subsequently commissioned a Sprite Two-Point mandola, and the first Big Hammer mandocello.  Lee noted enthusiastically, "You don't need to play 100 Sorensen mandolins to find a great one.  You just need to play one -- it will be great."
